Trade Agreements

Newfoundland and Labrador is a signatory to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and the Atlantic Procurement Agreement (APA). The purpose of such agreements is to reduce and eliminate, to the extent possible, barriers to the free movement of persons, goods, services, and construction within Canada and to establish an open, efficient, and stable domestic market.
